Mount Everest Base Camp 2018

Trek one of earth's natural wonders and raise funds for seriously ill children while you do it!

Following the success of our Kokoda Trek, Little Heroes Foundation is excited to be providing another opportunity for you to go on the journey of a lifetime in 2018 - this time to Mount Everest Base Camp!

First conquered by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953, Everest has traditionally been the ultimate goal for mountaineers. Today hard-core trekkers seek the challenge of reaching the mountaineer's Base Camp.

Flying in to Lukla, you will explore the mountains and valleys around the towering peak, rest in Nepalese teahouses, learn about the traditions and cultures of the famous Sherpa, and spend time in exotic Kathmandu.

Your support of this trek will not only help support our current projects at Little Heroes Foundation, but you will also be helping Nepal get back on its feet by visiting the country while the post earthquake rebuilding continues.

This trek is probably one of the most famous in the world, and with good reason!!

Who you are supporting

Little Heroes Foundation works to support those in need in right here in SA, and changes lives for the better. Children with serious illness and their families, put their everday lives on hold after diagnosis, to focus on their child's health. Little Heroes Foundation's mission is to support these children and families, by raising funds towards essential equipment and services that support them through this life-changing experience.

Little Heroes Foundation has contributed close to $20 million for lifesaving facilities at Adelaide's Women's and Children's Hospital, and continues to provide ongoing support to families through our Little Heroes Care Program. This program provide in-home support to families with a seriously ill child, to help them in their lives after diagnosis.

We rely heavily on community support, and a large portion of this is from fundraising events. Whether you take part in one of our Adventure Tours like this trek, support a friend who is, or even organise your own event, fundraising can be a fun and rewarding way to show your support and help us make the world a better place.

Our Corporate Heroes

Little Heroes Foundation would like to thank Sherrie and the team at Peregrine Travel, for making our adventure tours possible! These tours are our biggest fundraisers each year, and help make a difference to the lives of seriously ill children living in South Australia!
